As most of the staff in this community based organisation are volunteers, they welcome anyone who can give two to three hours either weekly or casually to help with sorting, driving or collecting.

Opening hours: Monday to Saturday: 10.30am - 5pm

Materials recycled:
Any plastic containers with '1' or '2' in the triangle. Please wash out all food containers.  Do not send the tops and if possible squash. Leave tops on non-food containers

  • Newspaper, magazines, glossy, junk mail
  • Aluminium and steel cans
  • Any types of cardboard - place flattened cardboard tied into bundles
  • Unbroken glass bottles only. These must not be left at the drop-off centres, but delivered to the Resource Recovery Park in Boundary Road, Alexandra.
  • Scrap steel. deliver to Resource Recovery Park

Place recyclables in shopping bags tied at the top. Do not leave loose in boxes or untied bags.

There is a Recycle Shop where articles in good clean condition and repair can be donated and are resold. This income goes towards employment opportunities.
