Citibus awarded Peninsula Waverley contract

A new contract for the Peninsula/Waverley weekday service has been awarded to Citibus Limited for the period to 30 June 2009.
Director Corporate Services Wayne Scott said that re-tendering was necessary following the cancellation three weeks ago of the Eastbus contract for the service.
The new contract will commence on 1 September. In the interim, the Peninsula/Waverley route is being covered by Dunedin Passenger Transport.
