Poison Warning
The public are advised that Regional Services will be laying Feratox encapsulated cyanide in bait bags and bait stations on private and Department of Conservation land within the following Animal Health Board Bovine TB vector control operations, from 13 November 2008 to 30 September 2009:

- East Hawea
- Greenland
- Manorburn
- Moa Creek
- Southern Nevis
- Speargrass Creek
- Thomsons Gorge
- Wanaka Hawea
The public are warned:
Not to enter properties with out permission
Not to remove any dead animal
Not to remove any bait
Not to let children wander in these areas unsupervised
Not to allow dogs to scavenge
Warning signs will be erected at all known entry points. Participating landowners will be contacted prior to commencement of operation. Maps outlining these areas will be available for inspection by appointment only.
