Council meetings, reports, and agendas are usually open to the public and available online.

Council and Committee meetings and workshops are held in the Council Chamber, Level 2, Philip Laing House, 144 Rattray Street in Dunedin unless otherwise specified. 

Meetings are livestreamed to the public via the ORC YouTube channel. Public sessions are recorded and available online.

Public Forums are held at Council and Committee meetings. All requests for speaking must be made to Governance at least one clear work day prior to the meeting and are confirmed at the Chair's discretion.
