What matters to you most for Otago’s future? Join us online, ask questions, and listen to councillors and ORC staff about the plan to create a stronger future for Otago.

We want to hear what you think about what’s being proposed in the draft Long-Term Plan (LTP).

This plan is important for your future. It identifies and sets the direction of ORC’s key work programmes for the next 10 years, detailing the outcomes we want to achieve, and it explains the rates implications for the work proposed.

  • The plan gives significant focus to public transport and large-scale environmental project funding, and we’re proposing some changes to how rates are calculated.
  • The impact of these changes will be different for everyone depending on where you live in the region.
  • You can also find out more about the new infrastructure strategy for our flood protection and drainage schemes.
