Manager Support Services

The Opportunity

As a result of the re-shaping we are bringing to market a number of newly created roles, particularly in the leadership space. To be a great leader at ORC, we need you to be values driven, action-oriented and motivated by the knowledge that the work we’re doing is for the good of our environment, and our communities. You’ll be resilient, outcomes focussed, and you’ll be able to foster those attributes within your own team too. Your technical prowess will be complimented by your desire to enable the success of others, and your authentic leadership style will be apparent in all you do.

As the Manager Support Services, you will be responsible for providing leadership and oversight to the facilities, fleet and records functions at ORC. Reporting to the General Manager Corporate Services, you will lead the teams who ensure our vehicles, building and plant are fit for purpose, and that our corporate administration services are working effectively and efficiently, adding value to our organisation.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be confident, engaging and an expert in building relationships with both internal customers and suppliers. You will be confident in the application of risk management frameworks, and be able to juggle competing priorities with ease.

Ideally you will come to us with:
• A tertiary qualification in project management, legal studies or management (or equivalent level of experience)
• 5+ years’ experience in a similar position (ideally with a leadership component)
• Significant experience with property and fleet management
• Experience working with requirements of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act (LGOIMA)
• Project Management experience
• Financial and commercial acumen.

As you may have guessed, we aren’t interested in second best. But if you’re a motivated professional with a demonstrated history of success, we want to hear from you!
