Recruitment and Learning Partner

The Opportunity

The People and Culture team at ORC are proud to be bringing to market the new role of Recruitment and Learning Partner, supporting us as we continue to tick off our long (and growing) list of goals. This is an exciting time for a passionate, resilient, HR practitioner to join our team, partnering with our people leaders to provide advice and support on recruitment best-practice, sourcing and branding, as well as supporting the organisation to achieve our desired learning outcomes.

The primary deliverables for this role, in support of ORC’s goal to become an agile and effective learning organisation, will be the coordination and provision of advice relating to our L&D and recruitment activities. You will be responsible for initiatives such as an ‘HR101’ series for our managers, learning needs analysis for our people, and targeted recruitment and retention activities; such as a graduate programme, presence at tertiary careers events and an engaging employer brand.

About You

Solutions focussed and a strategic thinker, you will be renowned for your ability to form productive, effective and meaningful working relationships with people at all levels. We believe hard skills can be taught, but a high level of EQ is what will enable to you truly succeed in this role. Ideally, you will have a relevant tertiary qualification and prior experience in either internal recruitment and/or L&D, and a genuine willingness to move into a more generalist space within an organisation where the difference you are making is tangible.

If you consider yourself to be motivated, outcomes-focussed and solutions orientated, and you’re on the hunt for your next challenge, we’d love to hear from you. This is a fixed term opportunity of up to 12 months duration.
