2019 Elections Results

Elections will be held for:

  • 6 members to represent the Dunedin Constituency
  • 3 members to represent the Dunstan Constituency
  • 1 member to represent the Moeraki Constituency
  • 2 members to represent the Molyneux Constituency

Key dates for the 2019 elections are: 

  • Friday, 19 July 2019 - Nominations open, Electoral Rolls open for inspection
  • Wednesday 24 July 2019 - Candidate information presentation
  • Friday, 16 August 2019 - Nominations close (12 Noon), Electoral Rolls close
  • Friday, 20 September through Wednesday, 25 September 2019 - Delivery of voting documents
  • Saturday, 12 October 2019 - Election Day, voting closes at 12 Noon.

If you are enrolled as a parliamentary elector you will automatically be placed on your district or city council’s electoral roll as a residential elector. If you need to enrol or update existing name or address details on the parliamentary electoral roll, you can do so at any Post Shop, online at www.elections.org.nz or by phoning 0800 36 76 56.
