Upper Lakes Rohe

The Upper Lakes Rohe covers around 7,000 square kilometres and is home to more than 28,000 people. The scenery here also attracts thousands of visitors each year, who enjoy views of budding orchard trees, snow-covered mountains and stunning lakes.

We are following a staggered process of consulting with communities about their freshwater values and concerns as part of the Freshwater Management Unit process.
