Proposed variations to Otago Southland Regional Land Transport Plans 2015-2021

We’re doing a mid-term review of the RLTPs and we’d like to know what you think about our proposed changes.

Back in 2015, the Otago and Southland regions produced combined RLTPs for the first time. Otago and Southland Regional Transport Committees (the RTCs) are updating both the strategy and the programme of activities for 2018-21 that we're asking the NZ Transport Agency (NZTA) to either fully fund or to co-fund with local government.

The RTCs are proposing a programme of activities to make our transport system safer and more sustainable and to support and enhance regional development.

How to give feedback

We're seeking feedback from key stakeholders with an interest in Otago's and Southland's transport system and the public are also welcome to submit.

We’d like to know what you think about the changes to strategy and projects in the RLTP. This will guide the NZ Transport Agency and local authorities in Otago and Southland on how to target their investment in roading, walking, cycling and public transport.
