Edith Cavell Bridge Closure - 2/09/2026

QLDC has advised that Edith Cavell Bridge is closed now and overnight due to recent earthquake. The buses will not be able to access Arthurs Point tonight and buses will follow detour as mentioned below until further notice. Route 4 - Arrowtown to Jacks Point will depart Arrowtown at normal time but follow the Route 2 route into the Frankton Bus Hub and then will travel out to Jacks Point. Route 4 - Jacks Point to Arrowtown, will depart Jacks Point at the normal time but follow the Route 2 route out to Arrowtown. Bus stops in Manse Road, all of Arthurs Point and Gorge Road will not be serviced until the bridge is cleared its inspection. Apologies for the inconvenience.
