Edith Cavell Bridge Closure – Friday, 30 October 2026

Due to roadworks, the Edith Cavell Bridge will be closed to all traffic from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm on Friday, 30 October. This closure will affect ORBUS Route 4 services only between 12:00 pm and 3:00 pm. Affected Trips: Route 4 (Jacks Point to Arrowtown via Queenstown): 12:00 pm & 1:00 pm departures. Route 4 (Arrowtown to Jacks Point via Queenstown): 12:31 pm & 1:31 pm departures Detours (12:00 pm – 3:00 pm) Route 4 (Jacks Point to Arrowtown via Queenstown): o Trips will terminate early at Gorge Road, past the Warren Park stop, near the Queenstown Hospice Shop. o Return trips towards Jacks Point will depart at their scheduled times from the bus stop on Gorge Road outside the vet. Route 4 (Arrowtown to Jacks Point via Queenstown): o Trips will terminate early in Arthurs Point at the Atley Road (Queenstown TOP 10 Holiday Park) stop. o Return trips towards Arrowtown will depart at their scheduled times from the bus stop directly opposite Queenstown TOP 10 Holiday Park. Alternative Travel: Passengers travelling between Arrowtown and Frankton can use Route 2 in both directions. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
