Connecting Central Lakes and Upper Clutha
Learn more about two new bus services proposed for Central Lakes and Upper Clutha communities. Both would be trial services, subject to funding through ORC’s 2027–30 Long-term Plan process.
Ōamaru — Dunedin community shuttle
The Ōamaru community shuttle connected Ōamaru, Palmerston, and Dunedin, linking rural towns with Orbus services for easier regional travel. Supported by volunteers and Otago Regional Council, the service was replaced by an Orbus service on 1 October 2026.
