🔴 Hospital South Stop Closure🔴

Valid from Monday, Aug 08, 2022 6:00 AM

UPDATE - 12/08

Unfortunately this detour will need to be extended for an additional two weeks to allow for further work to be completed at the Frederick/Great King St intersection. While general traffic can pass through here, it is not safe passage for our buses.

The detour will remain in place until at least Sunday 28th August.

If the work is completed ahead of this date, we will update communications as normal.

Thanks for your understanding.

-------------------------------------------------------------

Due to work required at the intersection of Great King St and Frederick St, buses will not be able to travel south along Great King St for next week.

From Monday 8th August, for approximately one week, the Hospital South stop will be closed.

The following detours will be in place:

Route 50 - will detour via George St in both directions.

There will be a temporary stop setup around 332 - 334 George St.

Route 63 - will detour via the one-way south and Hanover St, before turning onto Great King St.

There will be a temporary stop setup outside 95 Hanover St (Henry's).

The services will keep their existing detours for Logan Park and Helensburgh bound services, as Great King St northbound lane remains closed.

We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause, and ask passengers who use the service to access the Hospital South stop to be aware of this upcoming closure and share with their network.

🚧🟡 Retail Quarter Update🟡🚧

Valid from Tuesday, Jun 28, 2022 6:00 AM

Great King St northbound closure between St Andrew St & Frederick St

From Tuesday 28th June, Great King St (between St Andrew St and Frederick St) will be closed to northbound traffic. This is to enable the next phase of the enabling works for the Retail Quarter upgrades.

Previously the closure was from Hanover St to Frederick, but now the closure extends further toward the bus hub.

Routes 50 (toward Helensburgh) and 63 (toward Logan Park) are affected by this work.

  • Route 50 will remain detoured via St Andrew St/George St – with a temporary stop setup at 314 George St.
  • Route 63 will now be detoured via St Andrew St and the one-way north. There are no temporary stops in place for this route. Passengers wanting to access the hospital should make use of the stop at Malcom St, corner of Frederick st.
  • The stop at Hospital North will be out of service.

Southbound traffic and Hospital South stop are unaffected by this work.

This detour will be in place for the next few months while enabling work is completed along Great King St.

Thanks for your patience with this work - check in here to see any updates as the work progresses. 🚌🚌
