Tell us your thoughts about the Orbus On Demand Mosgiel service

What is the Orbus On Demand service?

Orbus On Demand is a flexible, bookable rideshare bus service for people travelling around Mosgiel, Wingatui, East Taieri and Kinmont.

Instead of following a fixed route or timetable, you simply book a trip when you need it using the Orbus On Demand app or by calling our customer services team on 0800 672 8736 (weekdays, 8am–6pm).

The service uses a wheelchair-accessible electric bus and operates between nearly 100 designated pick-up and drop-off points across the area.

You'll be directed to the closest pick-up point when you book, and your journey may be shared with other passengers. Trips can be booked from 30 minutes prior and up to seven days in advance.

The service runs Monday to Friday, 8am–6pm (excluding public holidays), and standard Dunedin bus fares and concessions apply.

You can pay with your Bee Card or cash.
