Service alert: due to traffic lights out.

Buses on Routes Sunshine Bay to Remarkables Shops (route 1), Arrowtown to Arthurs Point (route 2), Lake Hayes Estate to Queenstown (route 5), Remarkables Shops to Sunshine Bay (route 1), Arthurs Point to Arrowtown (route 2), Frankton Flats to Kelvin Heights (route 3), Queenstown to Lake Hayes Estate (route 5) are delayed, due to traffic lights out. Normal service will resume later in the evening.

🌞 Arrowtown Long Lunch 🌞

Tomorrow (03/12) is the annual long lunch in Arrowtown. To support the festivities, there will be a detour for route 2.
The bus toward Arrowtown will head along Ramshaw Lane, but not on the way out of Arrowtown. The bus will instead travel along Wiltshire St.
There will be temporary stops opposite and next to the first station on Hertford St.

🚧 Night work on SH6A Frankton Rd

From 27 October onwards, due to work on the road over the next three weeks (from 27/10), there will be some disruptions to normal bus stop locations in the evenings from 8pm.
Bus stops will only closed as required when works is active in the affected area.
- Travelling Eastbound – Copthorne & Pounamu will be closed when working on eastbound lane. A temporary bus stop to be created within the closed Pounamu driveway.
- Travelling Westbound – Oaks Club & Copthorne will be closed one at a time when working on the westbound lane.
o Oaks Club bus stop will be moved 20m west into Morries Lane accessway when unavailable to buses.

🟢🚍Orbus Covid-19 vaccination update

From October 4th, Orbus are offering free travel on our buses to and from your booked Covid vaccination.
To be eligible for this, you must show the driver a copy of your booking on your phone, or a physical copy. For the return trip, can show your vaccination card which will have the current date on it.

**Travel is for a single return trip only, and is only valid for booked appointments, not walk in clinics.

Alert Level 2

We are currently in Alert Level 2:

  • We are back to the normal timetable
  • We are back to front door entry
  • THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT – distancing is not required in Alert Level 2. However, there is no standing in level 2 so once we are at capacity you will have to wait for the next service.
  • Cash is accepted, but if you have a Bee Card top up online please or with large amounts to reduce driver interaction
  • As always WEAR A MASK
  • Track your travel by scanning in the QR codes on buses with the official COVID app, or keep a manual entry of your travel
