Free buses at the George Street market

Venue: George Street, Dunedin

Otago Regional Council is providing free buses between 9am and 8pm for people travelling to and from the event.

Event details:

George Street Market: 10am-5pm

Eats and Beats on Bath Street: 12pm-8pm

Where: George Street, Central Dunedin between the Octagon (the Octagon remains open) and Frederick Street including Bath Street.

Catch a free bus to get to the event nice and early!

Free buses

Otago Regional Council is providing free buses between 9am and 8pm for people travelling to and from the event. Just mention to the driver that you are heading to or from the market – no need to use your Bee Card.

What’s happening

Relax and travel by bus to the George Street Market for food, creativity and entertainment. It’s free to attend and you can browse 200 stalls selling jewellery, art, beauty and skincare products and plants, and choose from 20 food vendors. Eats and Beats on Bath Street is a dedicated food, drink and live music zone running into the evening.

There will be live music and world-class street performances, including with circus, acrobatics, freestyle sport, comedy and poetic marionette theatre.
