Cr Kelliher lives in Central Otago and is elected to the Dunstan Constituency.
His background is in civil engineering, and he ran a project management business in Ireland.
He is serving his fourth term as an ORC councillor, having chaired committees, participated in catchment water groups and was a former RMA commissioner. Cr Kelliher is focused on resolving catchment water issues, arriving at balanced and sustainable outcomes for new policy across the region, and improving ORC engagement with Otago communities.
Cr Kelliher is a sheep and deer farmer in Springvale where his family has lived and worked for many generations and has other businesses involved in roading and administration.
