Ways to pay your rates

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak we have to change your payment options, see below for ways you can pay your rates.

Set up a direct debit with ORC so you don’t need to worry about remembering to pay. With direct debit, you can either:

  • Pay the full amount owing by direct debit on the due date 31 October.
  • Pay in three equal installments; on 31 October and then the last business days of February and June.

If the payment date falls on a weekend or public holiday, funds will be debited on the closest business day prior to 31 October.

To be eligible for the instalment option, you must have paid any balance owing from previous years before submitting a direct debit authority form.

Rate penalties will not apply to current year rates using this option. Please note: new or amended direct debit instructions need to be received no later than 30 September to allow for processing for the current years rates.

To arrange either of these options, do one of the following:

If our online direct debit payment system is used, a manual form is not required.
