Update on public transport in Otago

Tuesday 24 March 2020

As of now, Orbus services in Queenstown and Dunedin are free of charge to stop interaction between customers and drivers. ORC is asking passengers to now enter and exit buses through the rear door where possible.

Orbus will continue to operate as normal for now, but we will reduce services from Thursday, 26 March.

To support those who work in essential services, for medical reasons, or to access the supermarket, we are looking to provide a weekend schedule, however this depends on driver availability. We will confirm the timetable tomorrow, Wednesday.

In the meantime, further information about public transport is available here: https://www.orc.govt.nz/public-transport/covid-19

We will update this page regularly and confirm the new timetable soon.
