Otago Regional Council contractors will be undertaking night shoots to control rabbit numbers on the ORC floodbanks of the Lower Clutha.

Otago Regional Council contractors will be undertaking night shoots to control rabbit numbers on the ORC floodbanks of the Lower Clutha.
Shooting will take place over several nights, from 4 May to 31 May 2026, between the hours of 7pm and 3am.
Shooting will not take place within 50m of any houses.
The operation will cover ORC-owned floodbanks in the Lower Clutha area. A map of the area of operation is available on the ORC website orc.govt.nz/RabbitsLowerClutha26
