Lower Clutha flood protection and drainage scheme liaison group will act as an informal committee that will work with us on the Lower Clutha Flood Protection and Drainage Scheme – this scheme helps reduce flood risks in the Lower Clutha, including the townships of Balclutha, Kaitangata and Stirling. 

This meeting will be held:

• 6.30pm 
• Thursday, 13 November
• Rosebank Lodge
  265 Clyde Street, Balclutha

In this AGM we’ll be discussing things like: 

• Flood scheme report, including details on future investment and maintenance
• Appointing liaison group members from a list of nominees. 

Light refreshments will be available.

About the new Lower Clutha liaison group

What this group (and community representatives) would do: 

• Provide feedback to us on service levels and proposed operational and capital scheme programmes  
• Give feedback on the development of infrastructure strategy, asset management plans and rating/funding 
• Be the ‘eyes and ears’ of the local community and communicate with scheme stakeholders.  

You can become a Clutha community representative in this group and help shape Clutha’s flood protection and drainage scheme.
