The Opportunity

We are looking for an IT Service Delivery Lead to join our Information Technology team on a permanent, full time (37.5 hours per week) basis, in our busy Dunedin office.

The purpose of this position is to lead the service desk function, ensuring internal service levels are met and ongoing issues are minimized. This includes managing the service desk team, providing service directly to staff, and reporting on service levels.

As an IT Service Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for:

• Monitoring and reporting on service desk activity and ensure that service levels are being met as agreed with ORC business units
• Reviewing and improving processes for tasks such as machine builds, mobile phones and user creation
• Providing oversight of service desk performance
• Assisting with System and User documentation, ensuring both accuracy and timeliness
• Coaching, mentoring, supporting and enabling staff to achieve agreed outcomes, and grow and develop in their roles

About You

Our ideal candidate will have:

• A relevant tertiary qualification
• Experience in people leadership & coaching
• Proven customer & stakeholder management experience
• Understanding of IT Service Management (ITIL aligned)
• Experienced running a Service Desk Platform
• A strong focus on continuous improvement
• Knowledge and experience in asset & lifecycle awareness
