As a regional council, we are required under the National environmental standards for air quality (NESAQ, 2004) to report any breach of the ambient air quality standard.
The National Environmental Standards for Air Quality (NESAQ) for 24-hour PM10 (Particulate Matter with a diameter of 10 micrometres or less) is: 50 µg/m3
