We’re bringing together people from across the catchment — along with mana whenua and agencies — to develop a practical, non-regulatory plan for our environment.

At this session you will:
The plan spans from the Pomahaka to Clinton and through to Balclutha, from Beaumont to Lawrence and Milton, and out to the coast — from the Mata-Au/Clutha Mouth to Toko Mouth and up to Taieri Mouth, extending 12 nautical miles offshore. It’s a large, connected landscape, and a collective approach will make a real difference.

The ORC is establishing an Lower Mata-Au/Clutha Integrated Catchment Group to help co-develop the Catchment Action Plan (CAP), focused on protecting and enhancing ecosystems across the whole area - from the mountains to the sea (ki uta ki tai).
