The Opportunity

We are looking for an Implementation Advisor - Transport to join our Regional Planning and Transport team in Tāhuna | Queenstown on a full-time (37.5 hours per week), permanent basis.

In this role you will oversee operational public transport service delivery – ensuring our public transport services in Queenstown are efficient, effective, and meet the needs of our communities.

As a Implementation Advisor - Transport, you will:

  • Assist with the delivery of public transport services and procurement
  • Implement and monitor public transport contracts, network performance programmes, and customer service programmes
  • Contribute to operational technology projects such as electronic ticketing
  • Implement public transport promotions programmes and other public communication

About You

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • 3-5+ years of prior relevant experience in a commercial or public sector environment, ideally. Whilst not essential, local government or operational public transport delivery experience would be advantageous.
  • Excellent customer service and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, prioritisation and planning skills.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
