Help stop the spread of African feather grass.
A serious pest plant, African feather grass, has recently been identified in coastal North Otago.
This invasive species produces large amounts of seed that are easily spread by wind and can also be carried on clothing, vehicles, and equipment. If left unchecked, it can spread rapidly and crowd out low-growing plant species, impacting both the environment and productive land.
Early awareness and action are key to preventing further spread.
