Wednesday 5 August 2026
4pm - 7pm
Venue: Forrester Gallery, Education Room, 9 Thames St, Ōamaru
Come join us for a chat on Wednesday, 5 August at the Forrester Gallery, and share your views on Otago’s coast!
What’s happening in the coastal areas you care about?
What issues or opportunities are there?
Give your thoughts on topics including natural hazards and climate change, biodiversity, water quality, recreational opportunities, public access and aquaculture.
This is a drop-in session — you can come by anytime between 4 and 7pm.
Our Policy team will be there, along with members of our Science and Natural Hazards teams, to answer your questions about coastal topics.
Come and share what’s important to you when it comes to Otago’s coast.
Can’t make it to the drop-in session?
No worries. Catch the earlier online session on Monday, 3 August (a recording will be available after 3 August).
PLUS there is an online feedback form you can fill out (feedback closes 10 August).
