have a new home …

The Environmental Delivery group (formerly Regulatory group) at ORC includes the Consents, Compliance, Investigations, Harbourmaster, Environmental Delivery Data and Systems, and Environmental Implementation teams.
The updates we share with you in our regulatory newsletters are just a fraction of the great work ORC does to protect and enhance Otago’s environment.
So, to give you the opportunity to learn more about what we do, and update you more regularly, we’ve decided to release future news from the Environmental Delivery group in ORC’s monthly e-newsletter, On Stream. This will be the final edition of the Regulatory Newsletter.
We encourage you to sign up in time for the May issue, which will be released in another week or two.

Environmental Data Portal
The Environmental Data Portal gives you the latest environmental data, such as water levels, rainfall, flow, temperature and much more.
More quality data means you will be able to make better decisions. With this portal, you can:
- Explore more than 350 monitored sites
- Easily find, view and interact with maps and tables
- See all available historical data
- Download data so you can view it offline anytime, anywhere
Otago Maps
At Otago Maps, you’ll find maps detailing:
- Resource consents and water allocation
- Otago LiDAR coverage
- A native planting guide with species lists that reflect the natural ecology of the region
- Wells in Otago
The new-look ORC website
We’re pretty proud of our new website and have received lots of positive feedback.
