Happy World Water Day, 2022
On this day, we would like to invite you to think about your favourite body of water in Otago and tell us why this place is special to you.
You might go there to fish, wade, swim, or just skim stones like Hugo pictured above – or even take in the sun on nearby rocks, enjoying a rare moment of solitude at peace with your surroundings. Whatever you like about your favourite place or places, we want to hear from you.
Visit the survey for your Land and Water Regional Plan and share your story. There's a nifty interactive map where you can drop pins and comments on places of importance. You can also post a photo of that special river, lake, stream, lagoon that will show our survey analysts what you love and want to protect.
Community meetings for the Land and Water Regional Plan are now online. Click here to see dates and times of meetings for all remaining rohe/areas.
You can also email customerservices@orc.govt.nz, or call 0800 474 082 to request a paper version of the survey.
Get a cuppa, and share your story with us through the survey. We really appreciate your input into this important plan. |
